When & Where: Sunday March 14 following the matinee (approx. 4:30 p.m.) at The Gamm Theatre. Please join psychoanalyst Dr. Dan Jacobs and members of The Glass Menagerie cast to explore the role of memory and biography in Tennessee Williams’ semi-autobiographical play.

Dr. Dan Jacobs is a training and supervising analyst at the Boston Psychoanalytic Institute and Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School. Raised in New York City, he has a vivid memory of seeing his first Williams' play, Camino Real, when he was 16. Jacobs received a master's degree in American Literature from Columbia University before entering the field of medicine. His two published articles on Williams, “Tennessee Williams: The Use of Declarative Memory in The Glass Menagerie” and “Blanche, Stella, Tennessee and Rose” have appeared in the Journal of the American Psychoanalytic Association.
