Free for the Community
Please join us for Pawtucket Humanities Forums, an exciting series of educational and cultural (and free!) events for the community surrounding The Gamm’s staging of George Orwell’s 1984.
Each forum, moderated by University of Rhode Island political scientist Maureen Moakley, aims to engage local scholars and audiences in conversation about the relevance of Orwell’s landmark novel. The forums will immediately follow Sunday matinee performances of 1984 (show attendance is encouraged but not required).
These events are made possible through major funding and support from the Rhode Island Council for the Humanities and are open to the public at no charge.
