It features new regional premieres, Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning plays that are as bold as they are comedic and thrilling, and a culminating masterpiece that embodies The Gamm’s identity. We’ve selected an anniversary season that highlights our history, ambition, and virtuosity. Without a doubt, this will be a birthday to remember.
For our 40th, we plan to celebrate our history and share our vision for the future. With intimate behind-the-scenes events, artist talkbacks, and added special programming, we are setting the stage to deliver an anniversary season you won’t forget. BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY by Stephen Adly Guirgis | Opens February 2025

Retired NYPD cop Walter “Pops” Washington is at a crossroads. Recently widowed and fighting a lawsuit against his former employer, he’s struggling to keep his rent-controlled digs on Riverside Drive. The police want him to sell out, his son is on parole, he’s been robbed by a close friend, and the church won’t stop knocking at his door!
